Assessors were masked, but participants could not be masked and outcomes were self-reported. Twelve-month data remained for 44/58 (75.9%) and 49/57 (86.0%), an overall loss of 19.1%. A Masai GB Limited project grant funded the clinical trial. No registration number was confirmed.
