The coefficient for percentage change in inflammatory lesions in the mask-covered area was -33.89 (95% CI -65.24 to -2.53). Noninflammatory lesions, sebum, corneometry, transepidermal water loss, erythema, and satisfaction showed no significant between-group differences. Reviews of snail-based skin products identify few heterogeneous clinical studies and frequent multi-ingredient formulations, limiting ingredient-level attribution.
